Is your tap room available for private events?
Yes. We have 2 spaces available for rent for private and semi-private events. We host small intimate events of 10 guests up to large cocktail events for over 300 guests.
The Mezzanine is our upper level private space.
The Brewers Lounge is our large main floor semi-private space.
What kind of beverages does the bar serve? Do you only have beer?
We have over 11 kinds of delicious draft beer on tap. We also have red and white wine, cider and a selection of hard liquor.
We also have non-alcoholic options.
Can I bring in my own wine (liquor, etc)?
No. As with any other bar, we cannot allow any outside beverages to be brought in. However, for special occasion bookings we can purchase product specified by you for an additional fee. Talk to your SGBC event manager for more information.
What are the tap room hours? Can my event go longer?
Tap Room hours are as follows:
Sunday 12pm - 9pm
Tuesday to Wednesday 11am – 9pm
Thursday to Saturday 11am – 10pm
Events can run longer than the tap room hours if discussed in advance with your SGBC event manager. Additional staffing charges will apply.
Are minors allowed at my event?
We are a family friendly facility and would love your little loved ones to join us.
Some events booked by SGBC may be 19+.
Do you have a coat check?
Yes. We have coat racks and hangers available for your event at no cost. It is self-serve and SGBC does not take any responsibility for lost or stolen items.
Is your facility accessible?
I have a large event booked, where do we park?
SGBC has a 25 space parking lot for your use. For events needing additional parking there is street parking in close vicinity to the brewery as well as additional parking in the rear of the building.
Please consider carpooling, and please drink responsibly.
Do you have storage for my event materials over-night?
No. Items must be removed at the end of the night. Depending on our schedule the next day, some overnight storage may be available. SGBC is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please talk to your SGBC event manager for more details.
Do you have a licensed patio or outdoor space?
Do you have a kitchen on-site?
No. We have a limited amount of picnic style snack food available for purchase. For events, we recommend you contact a caterer and discuss your catering needs with them. Homemade food is not allowed for booked events.
What caterers do you work with?
We will happily accommodate any caterer you choose to work with. Feel free to speak directly with your event manager for recommendations that may work well with your preferred style of event or budget.
Do you have AV and music?
Yes. We have an in-house sound system for music. Unless otherwise agreed upon we will program the music for the night. Should you need AV for your event, we have a small system available to rent for $25 (microphone and speakers).
How do I book an event at the Brewery?
Simply call, email or stop by and speak to our SGBC event manager. Event bookings are confirmed upon payment of the room rental. Deposits are non-refundable.
